Microsoft is replacing journalists and editorial workers at its Microsoft News and MSN organizations. The replacement are part of a futuristic idea by Microsoft to rely more on artificial intelligence and to pick news and information that’s provided on MSN.com, Microsoft’s Edge browser, and in the Microsoft News apps. Microsoft does think that by taking u this decision it will increased investment in some places and, from time to time, re-deployment in others. Microsoft informs that the replacements aren’t directly related to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The Guardian reports that around 27 are being let go in the UK after Microsoft decided to stop employing humans to curate articles on its homepages.Microsoft has slowly been evolving towards AI for its Microsoft News, and has been educating publishers and journalists to make use of AI, . Microsoft has been using AI to scan for information across internet and then process it and even suggest photos for human editors to pair it with.
